Enjoy the outdoors with bike trails, hiking trails, geocaching,archery and wildlife viewing. Sites are equipped with tent pads, picnic tables, fire rings, grills and lantern poles. There is access to drinking water and an accessible vault toilet within close proximity to all sites.
Residents will have a chance to tour the site and learn how to become involved with the planning for the future Marshall Mountain Recreation Area. Watch for trail use and type—some trails are one-way, bikes only. You are recreating on private property; respect property owners and neighbors.
The acquisition will be subject to the standard City open space acquisition processes, including an extensive public process with multiple opportunities for citizen engagement, culminating with a City Council vote. Potential funding sources may include but are not limited to the 2018 City-County Open Space bond, grants, and public/private partnerships.
