You can see the iconic radio towers at Deer Point summit from throughout the Treasure Valley. Whether you’re commuting to work, picking up your kids from school, or visiting the area, you’ll probably see them every day. It’s one of just a handful of non-profit recreation areas in the country. This means that 100% of the profits go back into equipment, facilities, outreach and more. The South Cow Mountain OHV Recreation Area is located within the Mayacamas Mountains, east of the city of Ukiah and west of the city of Lakeport, in Northwestern California. The area offers beautiful views of Ukiah and Lake County; pockets of old-growth fir; several species of oak; willows; over 31 miles of stream; 13 reservoirs; and habitat for blacktail deer, bear, wild turkey, and other upland species. Blue Mountain Recreation Area Special Order & Use Restrictions. Vehicle use within the recreation area is limited to the 94 miles of designated roads and trails and is appropriate for motorcycle, Off-Highway Vehicles , and 4-wheel drive vehicles. The trails are marked with numbered signs displaying difficulty ratings and the recommended vehicle type depending on the width of the trail. The South Mountain Recreation Complex is nestled along Northfield Avenue and Cherry Lane in West Orange.

In Ukiah, take State Highway 101 south to the Talmage exit. Travel less than 0.5 mile to Mill Creek Road, which is on the left. Continue on Mill Creek Road 5 miles for entrance to South Cow Mountain. From Covington, take 220 North to Hwy 39 and turn left on Hwy 39. Take Hwy 39 to Hwy 600 and turn left on Hwy 600 to the campground. Essex County Codey Arena is host to NJ High School ice hockey games, the annual Essex County Winter Holiday Hockey Tournament, the Essex Skating Club Winter Ice Escapade, and many figure skating competitions.

The lodge and three cabins are available for rent at White Rock Mountain. The lodge and cabins have electricity and running water. All units are equipped with bathrooms and a full kitchen. Each kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, crock pot, dishes, cooking utensils, and cooking pots and pans. The furnishings feature new, antique, and original CCC furnishings. Each building has a large private patio with a charcoal grill and fire pit.
